Brow Lamination

Smoothing effect by using chemicals to semi-permanently set the eyebrow hairs in a vertical direction, making them appear brushed up. Because of this process, people also refer to the treatment as a brow perm. Although in this instance, rather than adding a curl or a wave, it's all about straightening the hairs.

  • Delicate or sensitive skin areas may swell or redden, it is advised not to make social plans on the day of the procedure.  Lip liner may appear “crusty” up to one week.

  • If unwanted hair is normally removed in the area to be treated, i.e., tweezing or waxing, the hair removal should be done at least 48 hours prior to your procedure. Do not resume any method of hair removal for two weeks following the procedure. Electrolysis should be avoided at least five days prior to the procedure. 

  • Must refrain from dying eyelashes and/or eyebrows at least 48 hours before the procedure.  Wait one week after the eyebrow or eyeliner procedure before dying lashes or brows. 

  • If you are having lip liner done and have had previous problems with cold sores, fever blisters, or mouth ulcers, the procedure is likely to re-activate the problem. Your Permanent Cosmetic Technician can make recommendations to help prevent or minimize the outbreak. If you have visible sores, blisters, or ulcers on the day of the procedures we are unable to perform services.

  • Do not use aspirin or ibuprofen for 7 days prior to your procedure. 

  • There must be a month between Dysport, Botox, or filler injections and permanent cosmetic services.

Pre-treatment Advice and Procedures

First Microblading Procedure:

The first Microblading appointment ranges from $300-$500. Most procedures start at $300 but will increase depending on various factors such as correction work, specified technique request (ex. ombre), etc. 

 

Follow Up ( After 30 - 60 Days ):

Most people require a touch-up or follow up appointment after the first Microblading procedure. The follow up is an opportunity to add, darken, and/or adjust eyebrows. This appointment can be scheduled 30-60 days after the first procedure and cost $150. Appointments scheduled after this time period will be considered a color boost which begins at $250.

 

This appointment is typically called the "perfecting appointment." Any and all changes can only be made after a minimum of 30 days following the first appointment.

 

Color Boost ( 6-12 Months ):

Mostly known as a maintenance appointment, a color boost is scheduled for clients that have received the first Microblading procedure and the follow-up procedure. Client's wishing to maintain appearance will need to come back every 6-12 months (give or take) to receive a color boost. The cost of a color boost usually ranges.
